Summary : Our client is an industry leader in critical toleranced machined products and supplies of CNC Machined parts to the Heavy Duty Diesel, Military, Aerospace, and Automotive industries.
They are looking for two (2) Mill Operators to join their team. They have both a day shift and a second shift (4 : 30pm start) position available.
In this role you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery and equipment to process raw materials into final products. Responsibilities :
- Operate and monitor machinery and equipment to process raw materials into final products
- Adjust machine settings to maintain production efficiency and product quality
- Load and unload materials as needed for production processes
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet specification
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot technical issues as they arise
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and equipment damage
- Keep detailed records of production output, equipment maintenance, and any incidents or issues that occur during shifts
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth production processes
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Keen attention to detail
- Commitment to workplace safety
- Must have two (2) to three (3) years of CNC experience.
- Proven experience as a mill operator or in a similar role
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Vocational or technical training in machinery operation or a related field
- Familiarity with specific types of machinery or equipment used in the milling process
- Experience with computerized control systems for production machinery
