FACILITIES TECHNICIAN
RESPONSIBILITIES :
plumbing, mechanical, fabrication and electrical work.
Operate scissor lifts and forklifts.
work in a team environment as well as independently after a task is given.
REQUIREMENTS :
High School or GED and one or more of the following :
Working toward degree or certificate within an industrial automated repair or other relative technical discipline.
2 years directly related facilities experience with basic plumbing, fabrication and electrical skills in manufacturing or industrial environment.
Reading and understanding basic mechanical drawings and schematics.
Basic knowledge of plant water systems and cooling systems.
Understanding and troubleshooting / repairing basic facility equipment control system within the facility.
Basic computer skills and good communication skills with other team members.
Understanding of good safety practice.
Willing to support weekend and holiday call-in requests.
U.S. citizenship is required. Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
