Bakery Mixer – Manufacturing Specialist (Food Production Mixer Operator)
Location : Richmond, VA
Compensation : $15.00 / hour
Schedule : Monday – Saturday, 4 : 00 AM – 12 : 30 PM (5-day workweek; occasional overtime based on production needs)
Job Summary
Our client, a national food distributor in Richmond, is seeking Bakery Mixers to join their team! This full-time role is responsible for accurately mixing ingredients to produce high-quality baked goods while adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and mix ingredients for cakes, pies, rolls, and icings according to established recipes.
- Operate mixing equipment, scales, and meters, ensuring compliance with safety and food handling standards.
- Monitor dough and mixture temperatures while managing production schedules to ensure an efficient workflow.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, following SQF, SSOP, GMP, and HACCP guidelines.
- Complete all required documentation and reports in a timely manner.
- Report any food safety concerns or potential risks to supervisors.
- Assist with ingredient replenishment, equipment setup, and breakdown as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
