Location : Ashland, VA 23005

Compensation : $16.50 / hour

Job Title : Presort – Light Industrial Material Handler

Schedule : M-F Split Shift Between 1st and 2nd. (12pm - 8pm) Hours may be a tad more or less depending on volume daily and nightly.

Essential Duties :

Retrieve and sort incoming packages
Prepare deliveries by either gaylord, sack setup or pallet stacking.
Load packages into the system and identify special handling needs.
Use technology like scanners, computers and automation for improved accuracy and speed.
Perform all additional duties as required.

Education and skills required :

High School Diploma or GED

Understand and follow safety and other operational directions

Prior handling, fulfillment, warehouse or equivalent experience

Working knowledge of small package and conveyor systems

Ability to lift 5-20 lbs regularly, up to 50 lbs occasionally

Ability to walk, stand, stoop, and bend 80% of the time with or without accommodations
