We are seeking a detailed oriented person who can become part of our CNC Machine Operators team with our biotech manufacturing company. The position requires the willingness and ability to work a 12-hour rotating / swing shift in Franklinton, NC.
Job Duties :
- Set up and operate computer-controlled machines to perform tasks.
- Implement changes to machine programs, and enter new specifications, using computers.
- Transfer commands from servers to computer numerical control (CNC) modules, using computer network links.
- Monitor machine operation and control panel displays and compare readings to specifications to detect malfunctions.
- Maintain machines and remove and replace broken or worn machine tools, using hand tools.
- Write simple programs for computer-controlled machine tools.
- Complete log sheets and other data sheets neatly and accurately, as required. Notify the Supervisor of all errors, irregularities, equipment problems, etc.
- Work safely and maintain a neat and clean appearance in the production area in accordance with good manufacturing practice with the company.
