POLE LIFT DRIVER
Calhoun, GA
Pay : $16 / hourly
Shift : 1st (8 : 00a-4 : 30p) Monday through Friday. Overtime may be required!
Qualified Staffing - Calhoun is seeking a Pole Lift Driver for a local manufacturing client that focuses in area rugs, broadloom carpet and home accents. This Lift (fork or pole) position is responsible for the effective and efficient shipping and receiving of full truckloads (FTL) and less than truck load (LTL) orders, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities :
Effective and efficient shipping and receiving of orders, including LTL's, TL's, small packages and pick pack of accessories, with a dedication to customer satisfaction while using a fork or pole lift.
Use RF scanning equipment for shipping, receiving, and storing functions as required.
Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Comply with OSHA standards.
General warehouse functions including participation in daily cycle counts, performing labeling, load / sorting, repacking as needed, and cleaning.
Other duties as assigned
Pole Hyster Responsibilities :
Must be able to pass licensing certifications for a Pole Lift.
Transport of rolled goods and / or finished goods to designated area.
Responsible for moving product or materials in a production or warehouse environment.
Operator may also be required to identify Labels and Products : Must be able to read and interpret roll tags for pulling rolls for transport to cut table or bin location.
Use Scanner / CRT to identify merchandise to be moved to and from warehouse locations for storage and order requirements.
Fork Responsibilities :
Must be able to pass licensing certifications for a Forklift.
Transport of palletized goods and / or finished rugs to designated area.
Responsible for moving product or materials in a production or warehouse environment.
Operator may also be required to identify Labels and Products : Must be able to read and interpret pallet tags for pulling for transport to trucks, storage or bin location.
Use Scanner / CRT to identify merchandise to be moved to and from warehouse locations for storage and order requirements.
Additional Requirements :
Experience using WMS scanning equipment.
1 year prior warehouse pole / fork lift experience preferred.
Previous experience with high-speed industrial environment a plus.
Must be able to efficiently and safely navigate pole / fork lift in warehouse environment.
