Process Engineer
Shift : 2nd Shift (3 PM – 11 : 30 PM)
Location : McCalla, AL (Central Time Zone)
Compensation : $75K–$85K (negotiable for exceptional candidates)
Overtime : Qualifies for straight time OT after 45 hours / week
Responsibilities :
- Process Optimization : Develop, monitor, and optimize manufacturing processes for injection molding to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure quality standards.
- Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve process and equipment issues to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Technical Expertise : Provide hands-on support for process development, including mold changes, cycle time optimization, and parameter adjustments.
- Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement solutions to improve product quality, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
- Collaboration : Work closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure seamless operations and adherence to automotive standards.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate process documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Training : Train operators and technicians on new processes, equipment, and best practices.
- Safety Compliance : Ensure all processes meet safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
Qualifications :
Required : At least 2 years of experience in injection molding processes.
Proficient in process troubleshooting and optimization.
