Qualified Staffing is searching for 1st Shift Saw Operator for a manufacturer in Lawrenceville GA!
Schedule : Mon-Thurs 6am-4 : 30pm
Payrate : $19-$23 / hr
This is a temporary day shift position that will last around 4 to 6 months.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Configure and adjust saw machinery according to job specifications, including setting stops and guides to desired lengths.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job orders for accurate cutting requirements.
- Monitor machine operation to detect defects or malfunctions, making minor adjustments as needed.
- Use measuring tools (tape measures, calipers, micrometers) to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Inspect finished pieces to ensure they meet precise limits and standards of accuracy.
- Identify and report any material or product inconsistencies to supervisors or quality control personnel.
- Log and tag received or finished materials accurately, maintaining proper inventory records.
- Use inventory software and work-order systems to track materials and record completed jobs.
- Complete paperwork related to production, ensuring accuracy in counts and measurements.
