QUALITY TECHINICIAN
Hourly $18-27 based on experience
Job Description :
Reports to the Plant Manager. The Quality Technician plays a crucial role inmaintaining the high standards in the production process. The primary responsibility of a Quality Technician will be to investigate and resolve quality issues within the operation, create process improvement and best practice procedures and communicate these to operators and support personnel, to ensure the highest quality product is produced.
Quality Technician key responsible will be :
- Assist operators with problem solving techniques and application of improved operating practices.
- Train all employees in process improvement methods.
- Provide leadership and technical expertise in color management and process control.
- Use Microsoft Office programs to create corrective action reports, process flowcharts, and data tracking.
- Assist in developing and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) procedures in compliance with ISO 9001.
- Perform internal and external quality audits. Provide support for customer audits.
- Communicate with designated customer contacts regarding quality issues to ensure a high level of customer service.
- Complete first article, PPAP, and similar inspection documentation to submit for customer approval.
