Qualis Home Health Services has an exciting new opportunity in which we are seeking to hire Documentation Integrity Specialists. This integral position will be responsible for ensuring daily CAREStaff documentation is submitted and the quality of documentation adheres to state and federal documentation requirements. This position requires the ability to consistently review documentation portals to monitor for daily documentation submissions and interact with CAREStaff and office support staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Documentation Integrity Specialist – Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Conduct daily reviews for CAREStaff documentation in various staffing portals.
- Identify missing or incomplete documentation and contact CAREStaff to obtain documentation in a timely fashion.
- Submit documentation templates via e-sign software for CAREStaff/Client signatures.
- Create and submit weekly “delinquent reports” to share with Office Staff.
- Work closely with Office Staff to ensure the team is aware of delinquent reports etc.
- Participate in routine scheduled weekly staff meetings.
- Support the scheduler to ensure the most appropriate assignment of caregivers for each shift and make recommendations in the event a caregiver reassignment using sound judgment and knowledge of the client and caregiver as necessary.
- Counsel and educate CAREStaff on proper documentation expectations of the company.
- Offer documentation trainings as needed.
- Collaborate closely with Human Resource team to ensure timely and proper communication is shared with non-compliant CAREStaff.
- Ensure daily notes are filed electronically for all completed shifts and/or in some cases, ensure printed notes are on file.
- Participate in quarterly IDT/QI meetings
- Conduct monthly audits to ensure daily documentation is present and compliant with regulatory standards.
- Interpret the various types of services and the variation of documentation in alignment with regulatory body regulations and standards.
- Initiate CAREStaff disciplinary actions recommendations to both the Care Operations Manager and HR Manager for repeat documentation violations.
- Generate, deliver, and present various reports as scheduled.
- Assist with hosting monthly CAREStaff meetings.
- Serve on call at least one week a month
- And other responsibilities and tasks (both in and out of office) as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
