Qualitest is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our team. This is an onsite position, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of our software products through meticulous manual testing and effective collaboration with development teams.
Key Responsibilities :
Design and develop comprehensive test cases based on project requirements and product specifications.
Ensure traceability of requirements throughout the testing lifecycle to maintain alignment with customer expectations.
Log and manage defects with clear, detailed reports for developers, ensuring effective issue resolution.
Execute manual test plans, thoroughly documenting the results to ensure clarity and transparency.
Prepare and deliver detailed test reports, providing actionable insights to internal teams and clients.
Exposure to or background in automation and programming is beneficial, with an understanding of the importance of integrating automated testing practices.
Qualifications :
Strong experience in manual testing, including test case development, test execution, and reporting.
Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify, analyze, and resolve issues, working closely with developers to ensure timely fixes.
Proven ability to engage with clients, including direct interaction with customer Product Engineers (PEs) to clarify requirements, gather feedback, and report on progress.
Nice-to-Have Skills :
Familiarity with TestRail, JIRA, and POSTMAN for test management and issue tracking.
Experience in embedded systems testing or related fields is a plus.
