Daily Responsibilities:
- Oversee and verify shipping documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Efficiently manage both local and cross-border shipments.
- Monitor shipment progress, keeping stakeholders informed with timely updates and records.
- Navigate shipment software like UPS Worldship, ensuring smooth operations.
- Facilitate the rapid and complete fulfillment of orders, aligning with revenue goals.
- Strategize choice of freight carriers based on efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Handle any customs complications swiftly and effectively.
- Conduct inventory spot checks, ensuring order and organization.
- Provide leadership within shipping and receiving operations when required.
Who You Are:
- Possess a High School Diploma or GED; an advanced degree elevates candidacy.
- Experience in clerical and customer service, with a full year focused on shipping preferred.
- Familiarity with US Export Administration is advantageous.
- Experience with export documentation, coupled with proficiency in shipping software, is vital.
- Oracle software exposure is beneficial.
- Demonstrated aptitude for organization, communication, and solution development.
