Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. Duties
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage order processing, tracking shipments, and resolving any issues related to deliveries.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless logistics operations, including fleet management and dispatching.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions using AS400 or SyteLine systems.
- Assist in transportation planning and coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers as needed.
- Utilize GPS technology to monitor fleet movements and provide updates to customers regarding their shipments.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of logistics, supply chain management, and transportation planning is preferred.
- Experience with 3PL operations, fleet management, or dispatching is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using software systems such as AS400 or SyteLine for order management.
- Familiarity with GPS tracking systems for fleet monitoring is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
