What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry-Level Maintenance Technician position at Quality Assured Plastics, inc.?
Theindustrial maintenance apprentice/trainee at Quality Assured Plastics will be responsible for providing maintenance support to achieve quality, productivity, and safety goals of the injection molding facility machines, auxiliary equipment, and building/grounds. With the following essential duties and responsibilities as well as any other given assignments:
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair Injection molding production equipment, and auxiliary equipment in optimal operating condition, such as Engel, VanDorn, and Toshiba.
Applicant should have the following:
- Basic understanding of 480v & 240v,
- Basic understanding of Industrial electrical and electronics,
- Able to use an electric testing meter,
- Basic understanding of hydraulics, and pneumatics,
- Provide own personal basic hand tools
- Understanding of 5s a plus,
- Plastic injection molding die-setter or maintenance experience a plus,
- 8 plus hours on feet on concrete,
- Bending, lifting, twisting, up to 75lbs frequently.
