Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment on-site at customer locations.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as voltmeters and ammeters to diagnose issues and ensure proper functionality.
- Conduct troubleshooting of low voltage systems and logic controllers to identify faults and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide technical sales support as required.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including repairs made, parts used, and customer interactions.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols while working in various environments.
- Provide training and guidance to customers on the operation of their equipment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role in the electrical industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, low voltage applications, and logic controllers.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as voltmeters and ammeters.
- Ability to read technical schematics and manuals effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.
- Certification or relevant training in electrical systems is preferred but not mandatory.
