Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Auto Body Painter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive painting, repair, and refinishing with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience. You will be responsible for prepping and painting vehicle surfaces to restore and enhance the appearance of cars, trucks, and other vehicles.

Key Responsibilities :

Surface Preparation : Prepare vehicle surfaces by removing old paint, sanding, and cleaning surfaces to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
Paint Application : Apply primer, base coats, and clear coats to vehicle bodies and parts using spray guns and other painting tools.
Color Matching : Accurately match and mix paint colors to ensure proper finish quality for each vehicle.
Quality Control : Inspect vehicles for defects or imperfections before and after painting. Address and repair any issues related to paint quality, texture, or consistency.
Collaboration : Work with auto body technicians and other staff to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.
Safety Compliance : Follow all safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and proper handling of hazardous materials.
Equipment Maintenance : Maintain and clean spray guns, mixing tools, and other painting equipment to ensure proper function.

Requirements :

Experience : 3 years of professional auto body painting or automotive refinishing experience.

Knowledge : Proficiency in automotive paint mixing, color matching, and various application techniques.

Skills : Strong attention to detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work with precision.

Tools & Equipment : Familiarity with airbrushes, spray guns, and related automotive painting tools. Must have own tools.

Physical Stamina : Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including standing for extended periods and lifting heavy equipment or parts.

Problem Solving : Ability to identify and resolve painting-related issues efficiently and independently.

Communication : Strong communication skills to work effectively with customers and team members. Must be able to speak English

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with advanced painting techniques such as custom finishes or specialty coatings.

Knowledge of the latest painting technology and industry trends.
