Glazier/Installer

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Glazier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of glass in various structures. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The Glazier will work on a variety of projects, ensuring that all glass installations meet safety and quality standards.

Duties

• Install glass in windows, doors, and other structures according to specifications.
• Fabricate glass pieces as needed for custom installations.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements.
• Assemble and install metal stud framing for glass installation.
• Perform construction estimating to assess project costs and materials needed.
• Conduct repairs on existing glass installations, ensuring durability and safety.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure seamless project execution.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols.
• Assist with fixture installation and cabinet installation as required.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Glazier or in a similar role within the construction industry is preferred.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics is essential.
• Familiarity with construction estimating processes is an advantage.
• Experience in metal stud framing, construction painting, and fixture installation is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial for success in this role.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in various settings.

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
