Quality Beverage is a leading private-label manufacturer of dispensed beverage concentrates, syrups and sweeteners for the food and beverage industry. Quality Beverage is GROWING and is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic people to join our team.
The shipping/receiving clerk serves in the crucial role of ensuring all shipping and receiving processes are managed and up-to-date at Quality Beverage.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Work in concert with the Logistics Manager to develop and implement shipping strategies
- Making sure all shipments meet federal, state, and local regulations
- Maintaining accurate inventory records
- Assists in warehouse organization and cleanliness
- Use technology to track the handling of materials at every stage
- Provides reports to management on efficiency and stock
- Understands the importance and adheres to safety practices set forth by OSHA
- Adheres cGMP plans as set forth by Quality Beverage
- Must be able to be on feet for long periods of time
- Notify management of any abnormalities
- Notify the maintenance supervisor of any mechanical issues
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Maintains a clean work space
- Complete other tasks as assigned
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent education documentation (GED) required
- Bachelor’s in Transportation, Logistics or similar field, preferred
Experience and Qualifications
- 0-2 years of shipping, receiving, logistics and inventory management
- Ability to work in fast paced environment to ensure on-time delivery of finished goods
- Ability to work in a team to formulate plans for shipping and receiving materials

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
