What are the responsibilities and job description for the Relief Sales Rep position at Quality Brands Distribution?
Specific Job Duties:
- Complete all sales calls for assigned route
- Complete additional sales calls as necessary
- Develop a business relationship with customers
- Ensure that all product is properly rotated on all displays, backstock and on shelves. All product with older dates must be placed in front of product with newer dates
- Maintain code dates in Encompass at all times. Ensure that close dated product is monitored and that it is picked up or sold through the account before the products pull date
- Ensure all product packaging reflects the integrity of the package. Remove packages that do not meet with these standards
- Review sales and other pertinent information with customers
- Sell in current and future price promotions with customers
- Complete all assigned paperwork in a neat, accurate and timely manner
- Monitor all front line and discount price activity
- Monitor and report all competitive activity
- Face and fill shelves as needed
- Sell in current and future displays
- Ensure that all POCM is clean, functional and updated. All outdated P.O.S. must be removed from accounts and permanent signs in need of repair must be picked up and repaired following our Neon Repair Process
- Sell in brands and packages
- Complete all training courses assigned
- Complete all other assigned tasks when not running sales route

- Attendance - No unexcused absences
- Tardiness - Attend work at scheduled times
- Appearance – Follow company dress / appearance policy

Special Considerations & Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year industry experience
- Must be qualified to operate applicable company vehicles.
- Physically qualified to handle company products.
- Capable of fulfilling non-normal workday hour company requirements.
- CDL license is encouraged.
Pay:
- Salary Base: $50,000 Commission
