- Design high-quality wall panels that meet top construction standards.
- Create detailed shop reports and material lists for wall panels.
- Overlay floor and roof truss plans to ensure constructability and seamless integration.
- Analyze & overlay steel drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Answer questions and troubleshoot wall component issues from the manufacturing shop and field crews.
- Communicate effectively with customers, leadership, and team members to ensure project success.
- Understand& embody Quality Buildings' mission, vision, and values while holding others accountable to the same standards.

Our Ideal Truss & Panel Designer
- Experienced: Brings 5 years of experience as a field carpenter, truss builder, or similar role. Familiarity with building codes and standards is required. Truss and panel design experience is a plus but not required – we're happy to train!
- Tech-Savvy: Experience with MiTek, AutoCAD, or other BIM software is a plus. We're willing to train motivated candidates who are eager to develop their technical skills.
- Flexible & Adaptable: Thrives in a dynamic environment and easily adjusts to shifting project needs.
- Detail-Oriented & Visual Thinker: Possesses strong visualization skills to translate designs into precise, constructible plans.
- Time Manager: Demonstrates the ability to manage personal schedules and priorities effectively.
- Positive Attitude: Brings a can-do spirit to the team, fostering collaboration and growth.
- Eager Learner: Open to gaining new skills and advancing truss and panel design knowledge.
- $75k-$100k/year – DOE
