Description
DESCRIPTION :
The DevOps Engineer is responsible for automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and operations teams to build and maintain a robust and agile infrastructure that supports the organization's strategic goals and initiatives
- Design, develop, and implement automation scripts and tools for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) to manage and automate infrastructure deployments
- Develop and maintain CI / CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes
- Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises data centers
- Ensure the availability, performance, and security of infrastructure components
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions to track infrastructure health and performance
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and operations teams to implement DevOps practices and tools
- Provide technical guidance and support on DevOps principles and best practices
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of DevOps tools and technologies
- Promote a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the IT organization
- Takes directions from the Infrastructure Services Team Lead
- Mentors and Directs subordinate Infrastructure Services Team staff
