DESCRIPTION :
The Event Coordinator is responsible for the planning, execution, and successful delivery of a wide range of events. This role requires strong project management skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure events are aligned with organizational goals and deliver exceptional experiences for attendees
- Lead the planning and execution of various events, including conferences, seminars, webinars, trade shows, corporate meetings, and social events
- Develop and manage event budgets, timelines, and logistics
- Secure event venues, vendors, and resources
- Manage event registration and attendee communication
- Coordinate event logistics, including catering, transportation, and audio-visual equipment
- Oversee event setup and breakdown
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., marketing, sales, executive team) to define event objectives and ensure alignment with organizational goals
- Build and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners
- Communicate effectively with event attendees, speakers, and sponsors
- Develop and implement event marketing plans to promote events and drive attendance
- Create event marketing materials, including websites, brochures, and social media content
- Manage event registration and ticketing processes
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess event success and identify areas for improvement
- Analyze event data and provide reports to stakeholders
- Capture and share event best practices and lessons learned
- Take direction from the Event Planning and Execution Team Lead
- Mentor and Direct subordinate Event Planning and Execution Team staff
