What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transload Manager position at Quality Carriers, Inc.?
Essential Job Functions:
- Manage day to day functions of transload facility includes account management, scheduling of work assignments, scheduling of Transloaders, and oversight of billing process.
- Ensure the transfer of chemical inventory from storage tanks into trucks/trailers and railcars is completed in a safe and timely fashion.
- Ensure the loading of chemicals into Truck/Trailers for Shipments is completed on time.
- Inspect Facility Hazardous storage tankage, drums, and totes under RCRA Regulations daily and monthly.
- Handles all Hazardous waste shipments and documents.
- Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Supervise truck loading, transloading outbound shipments, inbound railcar, and truck inventory handling operations.

Ensure safety of employees and proper handling practices.
Skill/Knowledge Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Safety awareness
- Strong Mechanical Aptitude
- Able to read and use measuring tapes
- Communication Skills
Other Physical Demands:
- Ability to climb 34 foot Tanks and 15 foot Railcars.
