Our stellar rehabilitation program significantly enriches the health and well-being of our patients by delivering specialized therapies to get our patients rapidly back on their feet.
Duties of the Business Office Assistant include :
- Financial Interview for the Medicaid application process
- Having pt / family sign authorizationforms to apply and to order all docs related to Medicaid
- Ordering all docs and follow up with financial institutions proactively to obtain all docs for Medicaid application
- Filing Medicaid app / Conversions
- Filing fair hearing and attending if necessary
- Enrollments in Mandatory MLTC plans
- Educating family about Income payments and requesting signatures for DD on SSA and all pension
- Private patients – To discuss with the patient his / her finances or to collect a check if deemed appropriate that patient manages his own funds
- HMOdisenrollments, MLTC enrollments, Application for Insurance benefits (Medicare A or B) if deemed necessary
