General Summary
The E-Commerce Account Manager plays an integral role in the company’s e-commerce strategy, driving growth, optimizing customer experience, and maximizing revenue and profitability. This role is critical in shaping the future of our e-commerce business within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Growth
- Execute a 1–3-year e-commerce business strategy, including sales, gross profit objectives, digital content, and market expansion plans.
- Oversee digital marketing, customer acquisition, and demand planning to support supply chain management.
- Identify and execute new e-commerce growth opportunities, presenting cost-benefit analyses to stakeholders.
E-Commerce Operations & Optimization
- Oversee website and platform management (Amazon Seller Central, Walmart Seller Center, Shopify), ensuring user-friendly, responsive experience with up-to-date technology.
- Manage product listings, catalog updates, and inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and optimization.
- Ensure compliance with regulations such as the Consumer Inform Act of 2023 and marketplace policies.
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Implement strategies to improve conversion rates, order values, and revenue across platforms.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, ACOS, ROAS, units per order, and session views to drive profitability.
Customer Experience & Retention
- Enhance customer experience through listing optimization, engagement campaigns, and improved checkout processes.
- Lead customer support operations to ensure timely 365-day service responses within marketplace guidelines.
- Develop loyalty programs and personalized marketing initiatives to increase customer retention.
Partnerships & Compliance
- Manage relationships with eCommerce partners & customers, ensuring compliance with evolving marketplace policies.
- Own strategic partnerships that align with direct-to-consumer and third-party marketplace strategies.
- Identify and mitigate risks, including fraud, policy abuse, and aged inventory management at Amazon.
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Lead cross-functional initiatives of marketing, operations, and customer service.
- Work closely with IT, finance, and sales to seamlessly integrate e-commerce initiatives across departments.
- Provide performance reports and insights to the Executive Leadership Team.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in e-commerce management, digital marketing, and online sales strategies.
- Expertise in marketplace platforms (Amazon, Walmart, Shopify, etc.), performance analytics, and SEO.
- Bachelor's in business, marketing, or similar preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to analyze data, track KPIs, and drive strategic decision-making.
