Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role involves both industrial and commercial cleaning tasks, requiring a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks in accordance with established schedules and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Execute floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing floors.
• Conduct industrial cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs promptly.
• Clean windows, walls, and other surfaces to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
• Carry out custodial duties including trash removal and recycling efforts.
• Support residential painting projects as required.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently.

Experience

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is an asset.
• Knowledge of floor care methods including buffing and waxing is desirable.
• Experience in facilities maintenance or porter services is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
