What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Administrator position at Quality Collision Group?
The ideal candidate is responsible for maintaining the design and integrity of both customer-facing and internal systems as well as providing technical assistance to team members with system and network requests.
Responsibilities
- Monitor network resources and perform preventative maintenance
- Backup network configurations and test our restore process
- IT Support relating to issues with the internal systems and network infrastructure
- Document all network standards and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s in Information Technology or a related degree or equivalent work experience that includes network administration
- Certs are a plus but not required (Net , CCNA, FCA or similar)
- Experience working in a multi-vendor network environment is a plus
- Experience with a security framework like PCI-DSS\NIST\ISO-27000 is a plus
- Vendor management experience for the following: resolve network issues, implement new services, or renewal processes
- Ability to setup and troubleshoot VPN, WAN, LAN, and WLAN connections in both physical and cloud environments
- Microsoft Network Policy/Radius server experience
- Good troubleshooting methodologies
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact with business and technology groups, as well as a keen attention to detail
- Have experience leading and/or participating in projects
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time and task management skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
- Self-starter who quickly grasps delegated tasks quickly
- Participate in rotational on call
- Other duties as required
- Valid Driver’s License required and willingness to travel up to 50%
