Job Title: Apprentice/Helper Electrician
Location: Corpus Christi, TX
Schedule: 5 & 2, 50 hours per week

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Demonstrate knowledge of Electrical Standards, NEC requirements.
- Assists Electricians in their daily construction assignments
- Assists in terminating all aspects of electrical systems including instrumentation.
- Pull Cable, bend and run conduit, and install cable tray.
- Assists in performing retrofit and modification to existing electrical systems.
- Ties or screws wires to terminals.
- Secures brackets to bulkheads with screws and bolts and pulls wires through conduit leading to connection boxes, switch panels, and other terminals.
- Strips insulation from wire ends, using wire stripping tools.
- Supplies electricians with materials and tools, using hand trucks, or by carrying material
Required Qualifications:
- Technical school preferred; or one-year related experience and/or training required for Electrician Helper
- 2 years’ experience in an industrial or commercial environment required for Electrical Apprentice
- Apprentice Electrical license preferred.
- NCCER certified is a plus.
