Construction Superintendent for Federal Government Projects
Quality Contracting, Inc. specializes in multiple award government contracts offering a wide range of construction services. We are seeking a Construction Superintendent with experience managing projects on military bases up to $5M in value.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and employees on projects.
- Manage the work schedule and ensure all deadlines are met.
- Coordinate with subcontractors to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Oversee the safety of the project workers and ensure all safety regulations are being followed by all workers; and able to recognize unsafe situations and practices.
- Utilize systems to ensure quality control standards are met.
- Maintain a clean work site for safety and sanitation purposes.
- Develop a strong understanding of each project's plans and specifications and ensure each project complies with those plans and specifications.
- Daily documentation of activities, quality control measures and progress.
Qualifications: Required: United States Citizen, High school diploma or equivalent; Valid driver's license with good driving record; Ability to read construction drawings and specifications. Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds; Ability to work in all weather conditions; Ability to work overtime when needed; Knowledge of OSHA regulations; Able to pass a background check; moderately proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
