Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities : Under the supervision of the Site Administrator / Coordinator the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides nursing services to patients within a correctional environment. The LPN delivers nursing care as directed by the Physician within the scope of the State Board of Nursing Practice for the LPN.Pay Rate : $29 / hourShift differential $2.00 / hrMatching 401kNow offering PayActiv so you have access to the money you have earned before pay day!
- Respond and intervein to all emergency situations
- Conduct Patient Intake paperwork
- Verify and obtain orders for patient medication
- Conduct Sick Call clinic
- Order / maintain supply of patient medication from pharmacy
- Administer medications following nursing standards and correctional regulations
- Complete and document ordered treatments, patient care, and collection ordered labs
- Assist provider with Chronic Care Clinic and Provider sick call visit
- Monitor for, report and document changes in patient's condition
- Accurately document all patient information, nursing care and interventions
- Ensure daily nursing task are completed within prescribed timeframe.
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- Assist with training and orientation of new personnel
- Follow QCHC policies, procedures & guidelines
