Quality Counts LLC is seeking a skilled Field Operations Specialist to join our team. As a Transportation Field Technician, you will be responsible for collecting traffic data across the greater Minneapolis area and beyond.
About the Role
In this role, you will:
- Collect traffic data in various locations, including but not limited to the greater Minneapolis area.
- Perform physical labor tasks such as installing video detection cameras roadside.
- Create detailed field survey notes at project locations.
- Upload recorded video to our data team for processing.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- No prior experience required – just a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Availability to travel 4-8 hours outside of Minneapolis city center, with occasional overnight stays between one and two nights (paid for by Quality Counts LLC).
- Able to thrive in an outdoor working environment.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift equipment up to 50lbs, climb ladders up to 15 feet, and safely operate power tools.
