Job Summary
This is a unique opportunity to join Quality Custom Distribution as an Operations Clerk. As a key member of our team, you will perform various administrative and clerical tasks to support production and operations.
Main Responsibilities
- Administrative Tasks: Perform a variety of administrative tasks, including inventory records, freight rates, customer orders and reorders, shipments, and report generation.
- Customer Service: Coordinate and enter customer orders, arrange transportation, and resolve problems to meet customer service goals.
- Freight Coordination: Coordinate freight and delivery, reconciling daily shipments, scheduling pick-up/shipping appointment times, calculating freight figures, and verifying invoices.
- Report Generation: Prepare daily and weekly statistical reports and logs for Operations, Warehouse, and Transportation.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 3-6 years of relevant work experience performing administrative functions in a PC-based business environment.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, excellent communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a general business environment.
