Job description
We are seeking a motivated individual who is eager to apply their agricultural knowledge and experience to help expand our company and themselves in a fast-paced environment where the only thing that speaks is results! We are offering a boots-on-the-ground role where you will rely heavily on your own personal networking skills and acquired product knowledge with significant sales experience to help farmers & equipment dealers in your area and potentially all over the country acquire orsell/consign a very common yet niche piece of equipment in our industry.
During your tenure you will assist our efforts to help American farmers by networking with both the farmers themselves and their prospective dealerships and local businesses. As an expert in our field, with the knowledge acquired in the training we provide and in combination with your previous experience in farming and equipment sales, you will connect buyers & sellers with a range of heavy agricultural equipment with a focus on air seeders. You will be responsible for the repairs and preparation of used equipment to be consigned and sold to the leads you generate, as well as those that come to us in need of used pre-repaired/upgraded equipment. You will be responsible for contacting leads in multiple states throughout the country to generate sales. You may also provide a consultation & recommendation of tiered maintenance plans to enable farmers to maintain their air seeder in the optimal condition for their operation. You will be compensated based on your results with a commission-based pay plan & all expenses for the acquisition of these accounts will be paid by Quality Drills, LLC. Farm show or agricultural trade show experience is not required. However, these shows will be a catalyst to generate leads in your role and you will be expected to attend and actively participate at the farm show exhibitor booths that we secure each year as our business continues to grow and expand.
Responsibilities
- Engage directly with farmers and equipment vendors dailyacross the country, leveraging exceptional networking skills and extensive product knowledge. Master our products and services, including agreement terms. Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales objectives. Achieve defined consultative milestones and become an expert in our products and solutions. Prioritize customer needs by connecting buyers with equipment that meets their needs. Generate leads and close sales both in the field and at multiple annual trade shows. Conduct a minimum of five meetings and five consultations with potential customers weekly. Develop and maintain a robust customer pipeline. Attend farm shows and trade events to identify business opportunities to drive sales. Complete an intensive two-tiered training program, including sessions with our CEO and COO and hands-on experience with our technicians. Contribute consistently to the organization’s growth and adapt seamlessly to diverse business environments. Demonstrate a strong commitment to achieving and surpassing targeted goals in a competitive setting. Travel to client sites (travel expenses covered). Ensure all account acquisition expenses are managed and documented effectively. Benefit from full team support and resources to excel in your role. Skills
- Ag farming experience, previous or current, is REQUIRED. Passion for agriculture & a desire to help farmers Unwavering integrity, honesty, confidence, and a strong drive to succeed. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written Proven ability to quickly learn and adapt as technology and industry standards evolve. Capacity to engage and adapt to clients across diverse demographics and cultures. Passion for success while maintaining a client-focused approach in a dynamic industry. Pay: $52,000 to $140,000 (base salary [$52,000] commission based on performance)
