What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Driver position at Quality Electrical Systems?
Are you a road warrior with a knack for logistics? Do you love the idea of being the behind-the-scenes hero who keeps things flowing smoothly? If so, we want YOU to join our team as a Material Driver at Quality Electrical Systems! As the driver you will be responsible for driving to and from designated locations, verifying loads and maintaining shipping records.
Shift: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday
What You'll Be Doing:
- Safely pick up and deliver materials between warehouses because speed AND safety matter!
- Respond to emails and dispatch requests like a pro communication is key!
- Complete delivery paperwork, scan documents, and electronically file receipts because details matter!
- Load and unload various types of vehicles, sometimes with the help of cool equipment!
- Maneuver vehicles safely in all weather conditions rain, shine, or snow, you’ve got this!
- Keep company vehicles clean and organized using 5S standards because a clean ride is a happy ride!
- Operate a forklift like a boss—forklift certification required
(or willingness to get it)!
- Perform other related tasks as needed
because teamwork makes the dream work!
What We’re Looking For:
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience in material handling, warehouse logistics, or delivery driving
- Strong attention to detail—because every delivery counts!
- A positive, cando attitude with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work in all weather conditions (we’ll provide the gear!)

Summary of Minimum Qualifications:
- Education equivalent to a high school diploma.
- Previous driver/delivery experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must satisfactorily pass a alcohol and drug test.
- Ability to read and understand written instructions.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets,
word processing, database and other applicable software programs.
