We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Line Supervisor to oversee daily operations on our production line. This role requires a proactive leader with prior leadership experience, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to ensuring quality and efficiency in manufacturing processes. The Production Line Supervisor will play a critical role in managing team performance, maintaining safety standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise Daily Operations: Oversee and coordinate
activities of the production line, ensuring daily production targets are met.
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and
coach production line staff to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor product quality at each stage of production and implement corrective actions to resolve issues.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety regulations, conduct
routine safety checks, and ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement
- opportunities for improving production efficiency, reducing waste and enhancing productivity.
- Scheduling & Staffing: Plan and organize staffing to
meet production demands, including scheduling shifts and managing time-off requests.
- Performance Monitoring: Evaluate team performance,
provide regular feedback, and address performance related concerns.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of production metrics,
inventory usage, and downtime. Generate and share reports with management.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum of 23 years of experience in a supervisory
- or leadership role within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a fastpaced setting.
Skills:
- Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using production tracking systems or software.
Knowledge:
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles,
Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is a plus.
- Understanding safety regulations and best practices
in a production environment.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required; an associate or
bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred
