We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Equipment Sales Representative to join our team. As an Equipment Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our products or services to potential customers. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, meeting sales targets, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Travel throughout the assigned territory to primarily sell compact construction equipment (i.e., ASV, Yanmar, etc.) and secondarily any supplemental products.
  • Develop new customers and maintain the existing customer base in the assigned territory.
  • Understands the sales process and possesses the ability to move through the different stages.
  • Partner with the customer to determine their specific needs to equip them with the right product for their company.
  • Manage product demonstrations, installations, and application support.
  • Works to create a partnership with the customer’s business.
  • Maintains current knowledge of programs and financing to assist in the selling of new and used equipment.
  • Promotes and always embraces the company's Core Values.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the service department to address customer complaints effectively.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager on the customer financing process.
  • Provide up-to-date sales reports to the Sales Manager (daily, weekly, and/or monthly).
  • Achieve monthly and annual quota objectives.

Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge:

  • 2 years of equipment sales experience or territory-based selling.
  • Knowledge of the construction Industry and operational practices.
  • Ability to use IOS platform and Microsoft applications such as excel, word, etc.
  • Familiarity with using a CRM system.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports.
  • Bilingual (Spanish / English) is a plus.

Qualifications

A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience is required.

Direct experience as a compact equipment salesperson is a major plus.

Must be self-motivated, organized, and responsive.

Required to physically load/unload, operate, and demonstrate equipment.

Must have a clean driving record. (CDL license is a plus).

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
