Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. This role involves field service tasks, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems such as security, audio/visual, and telecommunications.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain low voltage systems including security alarms, access control systems, structured cabling and fire alarms.
- Conduct field service activities to troubleshoot and resolve system issues on-site.
- Build and configure systems according to design specifications and schematics.
- Utilize hand tools and remote access software effectively for installations and repairs.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of installations, repairs, and service reports.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations during all work activities.
Skills
- Proficient in detecting system faults and implementing effective solutions.
- Strong ability to build systems from the ground up based on provided designs.
- Familiarity with electrical principles and low voltage applications.
- Experience in system design for various low voltage technologies.
