Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background. They will perform routine equipment maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance of all newly delivered equipment and our rental equipment.
Responsibilities
- Thorough Equipment Inspections - Meticulously check every aspect of the equipment, including mechanical components, electrical systems, safety features, etc.
- Fluid level checks - Ensuring all necessary fluids are at the correct levels.
- Component Functionality: Verifying that all systems, such as lights, wipers, horns, and electronic features, are working correctly.
- Minor Repairs and Adjustments: Making any necessary repairs or adjustments to ensure the vehicle meets quality standards.
- Documentation: Recording any discrepancies or issues found during the inspection and ensuring proper documentation of repairs.
- Check in and out all rental equipment.
- Complete all necessary mechanical fixes to rental equipment upon check ins.
- Ensuring all equipment is ready for next rental prior to check out.
Requirements
- Proven experience in mechanical maintenance
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for repairs.
- Experience with diesel engine repair is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and understand schematics related to equipment systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
