Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Personal Assistant/Caretaker to support our team in various administrative and project coordination tasks, as well as, provide exceptional care for children in a loving and safe environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, as well as, experience with children, teaching, education, basic reading, writing, and homeschooling. This role is essential in ensuring smooth daily operations and providing exceptional customer service. In addition, this role requires a responsible individual who is passionate about childcare and can create a positive atmosphere for growth and development.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care for children.
- Engage children with teaching, basic reading, writing, homeschooling, and sports activities.
- Assist with light household tasks related to childcare, such as laundry or cleaning up toys.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support, including managing schedules, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Perform data entry and maintain organized records for easy retrieval of information.
- Transcribe meeting notes and documents accurately to ensure clear communication of ideas and decisions.
- Handle clerical tasks such as filing, scanning, and organizing office materials to maintain an efficient workspace.
- Utilize QuickBooks for basic financial recordkeeping and invoicing as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in childcare, including babysitting or nannying roles.
- Knowledge of homeschooling practices.
- An enjoyment for activities and sports.
- Strong communication skills to interact with both children and parents effectively.
- A nurturing personality with a genuine love for working with children.
- Ability to educate through play while fostering creativity and curiosity.
- Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or in a similar administrative role is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in office management software, including word processing and spreadsheet applications.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to transcribe accurately and efficiently while maintaining confidentiality.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective interaction with clients and team members.
