Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in the preparation of our signature dishes, ensuring that each meal served reflects our commitment to quality and taste. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a dynamic team to deliver an exceptional dining experience to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Prepare and portion ingredients, ensuring freshness and quality. Follow recipes and guidelines to create consistent, delicious dishes.
- Cooking: Safely and efficiently cook menu items, including grilling, sautéing, and baking, while maintaining the highest food safety standards.
- Assembly: Assemble salads, bowls, wraps, and other menu items with precision and attention to presentation.
- Cleaning and Sanitizing: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including equipment, utensils, and prep areas. Adhere to all sanitation and safety guidelines.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow team members, including chefs, kitchen staff, and front-of-house employees, to ensure smooth service and timely order fulfillment.
- Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory levels and notifying management when supplies need replenishing.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
