Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support to individuals in their homes.We would perfer someone 40yrs old and up. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about senior care and have a strong commitment to patient care.
Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care activities.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Help with light housekeeping tasks to ensure a clean and safe living space.
- Assist clients with mobility and transportation needs as required.
- Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse or healthcare provider.
- Work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities, providing tailored support based on their unique needs.
Experience
- Previous experience in home health care, nursing homes, or senior care environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical documentation practices is a plus.
- Experience in meal preparation and knowledge of nutritional guidelines for seniors is beneficial.
- A background in patient care or working with individuals with developmental disabilities will be an advantage.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and respecting the dignity of all clients is required.
