Quality Hotel & Suites at the Falls is looking for a Night Auditor to assist guests with their overnight requests and accurately balance accounts from the day shift. Hotel Night Auditor Responsibilities:
- Performs night audit of hotel for revenue, pre post room revenue, report audit and asses adjustments after revenue posting
- Perform daily housekeeping report, ensure accuracy
- Run revenue audit reports for the gift shop and bar
- Perform adjustments and corrections and rectify all computer problems that occur overnight
- Generate revenue or allowances and expense reports to provide guest ledger
- Prepare daily balances of all revenue and settlement accounts every night
- Administer and reset accounting system for new daily operations
- Review all revenue reports for accountability and transparency for all audits
- Ensure proper maintenance of credit and accounting procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area (First point of contact)
- Maintain up to date knowledge about hotel services, promotions, special packages and features
- Attend to guest calls and needs, ensure compliance to all rules
- Attend to any guest complaints and/or problems, identify and resolve
- Check in any guests that may arrive
- Answer phone and set up reservations
- Review and execute nightly duties assigned by manager
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Night Auditor - minimum 1 year Required
- Experience with hotel reservations software
- Understanding of how travel planning websites operate, like Booking and TripAdvisor
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent math skills
- Strong eye for details
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask
