What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry Level Print Production Associate / Delivery Driver position at Quality Impressions Print & Design?
Part-Time position with an opportunity to move to Full-Time. Starting pay will depend on experience and can be negotiated. Will train on the job for required duties. Option to start any time, or we will work with you on a starting date if needed.
Job Overview
We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual to support our print shop with production tasks, finishing work, and deliveries. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their day, is comfortable working with their hands and machines, and enjoys meeting people while out on delivery runs.
Key Responsibilities
- Load, transport, and deliver printed materials to customers in a safe and timely manner using company vehicle.
- Operate a range of printing, finishing and mail-prep equipment (ex: digital printer, book binding, mail inserter, folding machine etc.) - We will train on all equipment.
- Work with production team to ensure all orders are completed as scheduled.
- Occasionally helping customer with placing orders or any questions they may have.
- Support the team with other duties as needed.
Job Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License: Required for deliveries.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift packages (up to 45lbs) and be on your feet for extended periods.
- Time Management & Multi-Tasking: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Customer Service Skills: Friendly and professional communication with customers.
- Teamwork & Independence: Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently with minimal supervision.
- Troubleshooting Skills: Capable of identifying and resolving minor equipment or production issues.
- Work Schedule: Availability during standard business hours (Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:00 PM); Very minimal Saturday availability may be requested.
- Attention to Detail: Essential for assisting in quality control and ensuring accuracy in final projects.
- Color Perception: Accurate color vision is required to meet quality standards; Individuals with color vision deficiency (CVD) may not meet the visual requirements of this position.
Not Required, but a Plus
- Previous experience in printing or a similar production role is a plus, but not required— we’re happy to train the right person!
