Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of facilities through effective maintenance and repair tasks. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and functionality within the facility.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and facilities.
- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Weld and fabricate components as needed to ensure operational efficiency.
- Conduct facilities maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC system upkeep.
- Supervise maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within safety guidelines.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant or client concerns regarding maintenance issues.
- Read and interpret schematics to assist in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions.
- Execute residential painting tasks to maintain the aesthetic quality of the facility.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and their application in maintenance tasks is a plus.
- Strong understanding of customer service principles to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating leadership when supervising projects.
- Proficiency in English is required for effective communication within the workplace.
