Housekeeping Department Manager
This position is responsible for Supervising the daily operation of housekeeping, laundry and the upkeep of all public & common areas. This person must be able to schedule staff, train personnel, and maintain accurate inventories. This person must be a leader with high standards, a critical eye, and the ability to build a strong team. This person must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. This Supervisor must plan, organize, inspect and monitor staff activities to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards. This position will distribute and delegate workload to guarantee maximum production and guest satisfaction with minimum outlay of expenses in terms of labor & materials. The Supervisor will implement and monitor standard training programs, resolve difficult or unusual problems arising with Guests while maintaining excellent guest relationships, demonstrating outstanding hospitality through the corrective action taken.
Applicant Requirements: -Must be able to work various shifts including holidays & weekends-Ability to read, write and speak the English language (required)-Ability to stand, bend, lift 50 pounds, push a cart, and climb an 6' ladder-Prior
Supervisory experience-At least 1 year of Hotel Cleaning experience or related field-High School Diploma, Associates Degree
