Franchise Hotel General Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Manager for one of Altoona's top franchise hotels, to lead our team and oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of food safety, and driving profitability through effective management practices. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate staff, manage budgets, and implement training programs to enhance team performance.

Duties

• Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and quality in service delivery.
• Manage staff recruitment, training, and development to build a skilled workforce.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures that align with company goals.
• Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain menu quality and innovation.
• Manage shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels during peak hours.
• Utilize POS systems for tracking sales, inventory management, and reporting.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and employee engagement.

Skills

• Proven experience in a managerial role within the food service or restaurant industry.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary standards.
• Excellent budgeting skills with a focus on cost management.
• Experience in training development to enhance employee skills and performance.
• Proficient in shift management to optimize operational efficiency.
• Familiarity with POS systems for effective sales tracking and reporting.
• Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to motivate staff effectively.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
