Hotel Maintenance

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance tasks, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. This role involves performing various maintenance duties as well as some cleaning task.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities, ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently..
• Conduct residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic appeal and protect surfaces.
• Troubleshoot issues with logic controllers and other electrical systems, using tools such as an ohmmeter for diagnostics.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests and communicating effectively with team members and clients.
• Lead small teams on specific projects or during peak workloads, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in maintenance roles, with a strong understanding of general maintenance practices.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members effectively.
• Basic knowledge and experience using diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter.
• Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism in all interactions.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with keen attention to detail.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Morning shift
• Night shift
• Overnight shift
• Weekends as needed
