Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Manage housekeeping tasks efficiently to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Launder linens and towels as needed, ensuring they are fresh and well-presented.
- Conduct floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors to maintain their appearance.
- Assist with cooking or meal preparation when required, ensuring kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards are met.
- Handle custodial duties in commercial settings, ensuring all restrooms and common areas are clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established protocols for cleaning chemicals and equipment usage to ensure safety.
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices is a plus.
- Experience in residential cleaning environments is beneficial.
- Knowledge of proper sanitization techniques and floor care methods is essential.
- Ability to work independently while managing time effectively to complete tasks within designated time frames.
