Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including guest rooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
- Dust, vacuum, and mop floors to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Change bed linens and towels, ensuring all items are fresh and properly arranged.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, paper products, and cleaning materials as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing surfaces to prevent the spread of germs.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned by housekeeping management.
Skills
- Experience in custodial services or hotel housekeeping preferred.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques is a plus.
- Strong understanding of floor care methods and equipment usage.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
