Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team in Corbin, Kentucky. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms and common areas in our hotel. This position is available for both full-time and part-time candidates, with flexible scheduling options to suit your availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and mopping.
- Replenish guest room supplies such as toiletries, towels, and linens.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and mirrors.
- Empty trash bins and replace liners.
- Ensure all areas of the hotel, including hallways and common areas, are clean and presentable.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the Front Desk.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and staff.
- Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding linens, as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and professionally.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify the supervisor when replenishment is needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good physical stamina to handle cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work full-time or part-time hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
